The International Science Conference "Money & Banking" was initiated by Money Museum of the National bank of Ukraine and regularly occurs from 2024.

The purpose of the conference is to create a platform for the publication of research results and discussion of actual problems of the history of money circulation and banking in Europe.

Specialists in numismatics, history of money circulation and banking, economic history, archeology, art expertise and money design are involved to participate.

2025: "Money & Banking: the History and Future of Money"

This year the conference "Money & Banking" will take place on September 18–19, 2025 and will be dedicated to the topic of the history and future of money.

The aim of the conference is to draw the attention of the scientific community to the importance of researching the little-known pages of money circulation in the Ukrainian lands, as well as to the relevance of developing the design of modern banknotes.

The conference will follow next topics:

• Numismatics and the history of monetary circulation;
• History of banks and banking;
• Design and security of money;
• The future of money.

We invite speakers to participate with these topics, as well as all interested listeners.

In-person participant makes a report, the participation of the foreigners is possible online

All participants registered to participate in the conference in online format will receive electronic certificates of participation in the international scientific conference (filling out the feedback form after the conference).

Participation in the conference in person and online is free.

Languages of the reports: Ukrainian and English.

The number of in-person participants this year will be limited to 30 reports in a life format with the publication of abstracts (the online report is available for foreigners only). 

The best materials containing a significant scientific novelty and are highly relevant will be selected for the participation with a report. Therefore, we ask You to select the best material for the participation in the conference.

The team of Money museum has the right to reject any submitted materials if they do not have research value, scientific novelty, contain plagiarism, linguistic and stylistic errors, do not meet the requirements for submitted theses.

Accommodation and travel expenses are covered by participants.
